CHEESY BILTONG PULL-APART BUNS
🧂 Ingredients
- 3-4 hamburger buns (preferably crusty or brioche-style)
- 60g party dip or cottage cheese (Cheese & Chives or flavour of your choice)
- 80 g cream cheese
- ¼ - ½ cup finely chopped biltong
- 80g melted butter (preferably unsalted)

- 1 handful chopped parsley or dill
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella and cheddar mix recommended)
🧑🍳 Recipe Steps:
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix together the party dip or cottage cheese, cream cheese, and chopped biltong until well combined.
- Cut a deep cross on the top of each bun without slicing all the way through.
Spoon the cream cheese and biltong mixture generously into each cut. - Make the Butter Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, parsley (or dill), and crushed garlic until combined.
- Dip each filled bun into the butter mixture, ensuring the top and sides are well coated.
- Top each bun with a generous amount of grated cheese.
- Place the buns in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 180°C for 8-10 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 2 minutes before serving.
** Enjoy warm, crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside.
